To verify whether a specific URL is indexed by Google, you can use several effective methods:

  • Google Search: Type site:https://yourwebsite.com/your-url into the Google search bar. If the page appears in the results, it’s indexed.

  • Google Search Console: Use the URL Inspection Tool or the Index Coverage Report to check a page’s indexing status directly from your verified account.

  • Google Analytics or Similar Tools: Monitor organic traffic to the URL. If it’s receiving traffic from Google Search (excluding ads), it’s likely indexed.

  • INDEXED.pro: Our tool automatically checks and tracks the indexation status of your website’s URLs daily—no manual input required.

These methods help ensure your pages are visible and discoverable in Google Search.

URL indexing is fundamental to SEO because it determines whether your web pages can appear in search engine results. If a page isn’t indexed, it can’t rank—and if it can’t rank, it can’t generate organic traffic.

Proper indexing allows Google and other search engines to discover, crawl, and evaluate your content, making it visible to users searching for relevant information. It also ensures that new or updated content is reflected promptly in search results, which is crucial in maintaining a competitive edge online.

In short, if a page isn’t indexed, it might as well not exist for search engines—making indexing a core pillar of any successful SEO strategy.

Not at all. Our platform is designed to be simple and self-serve. Just add your site, choose what you want indexed or deindexed, and let us do the heavy lifting.

Short answer: INDEXPRO.DEVrequires Owner-level access to function correctly.

We understand that granting “Owner” permissions to a service account might feel intrusive. However, this is a requirement imposed by Google for any tool that needs to submit URLs for indexing or deindexing through the Indexing API.

Lower access levels simply do not allow a service account to perform critical tasks such as:

  • Checking a URL’s indexation status

  • Submitting URLs for indexing

  • Requesting URL deindexing (Note: We do not use the “Remove Request” feature)

Importantly, the service account does not log in or interact with your Google Search Console like a human user. Its access is limited and strictly tied to automated API operations—ensuring both security and compliance.

This permission is only needed to empower the tool to act on your behalf programmatically, as intended by Google’s API design.

INDEXPRO.dev Is Powerful—Not Magic

INDEXPRO.dev isn’t magic—it’s a powerful, automated solution that leverages our proprietary crawlers, official Google APIs (such as the Search Console API and Indexing API), and AI-driven processes to streamline the indexing and deindexing of URLs.

Our platform is designed to automate and accelerate the entire indexing workflow so that webmasters, developers, indie makers, startups, and entrepreneurs don’t have to worry about whether their URLs are properly indexed. Think of INDEXPRO.dev as your automated URL Indexing Guardian—constantly monitoring the status of your pages and reindexing any URLs that may have been unintentionally deindexed.

While Google officially recommends the Indexing API for transient content like JobPostings or Live Broadcast Events, in practice, it accepts a wide range of content types as long as there are no technical SEO issues. We’ve used the Indexing API for years across hundreds of domains without a single report or removal from Google.

Bottom line: Indexing URLs is fully compliant with Google’s policies—it’s not a violation, and it’s definitely not a crime.

Yes. INDEXPRO.dev uses official Google APIs like the Indexing API and Search Console API, along with our own crawlers. It follows all best practices and complies with Google’s guidelines. Indexing URLs is not against Google’s policies.

Yes! INDEXPRO.dev works with most websites—blogs, eCommerce, SaaS platforms, news sites, and more. As long as your URLs are accessible and SEO-friendly, we can handle them.

Most URLs are indexed within a few minutes to a few hours, depending on crawlability, Google response, and site reputation. We also recheck indexing status regularly to ensure stability.
